Husband had chicken and American fries he said it was adequate. My crepes were excellent. Our waitress was very attentive and very nice atmosphere. No waiting on food.

Stopped for breakfast after an overnight stay in Sterling. Helpful staff--pointed out family restroom as soon as we sat down (travelling with 3 year old and 1 year old). Good food, prepared quickly.

Though Village Inn has standard good food there are so many options in the town I would not wait again. Lunch took me 1 1/2 hours and that was 1/2 hour over my time allowed

We stayed at a campgrounds south of Sterling and after church were looking for a place to eat dinner. There were a lot of cars parked outside before church, so we decided to give it a try. Our state doesn't have any and we had never seen any in our travels. It was busy, but were seated immediately. We ordered... More

It was Saturday morning, later toward brunch time and we were passing thru Sterling. The place was very busy! . . .a good sign! We had some of the best pancakes & a breakfast burrito-zilla that was absolutely excellent! Our server, Matt, was on his toes and took good care of us. I could see that nobody was leaving the... Sunday morning we were on the road and looking for breakfast. It was busy but we were seated fairly quickly. It went downhill from there. We waited so long for our food with no explanation or apology. The food was fine when we got it but too long a wait!

I had a salad my husband had breakfast. Both meals were good and Village Inn still has the best hashbrowns. The kitchen seemed a little slow this day, but no harm.

It was my first time in Sterling, CO. We were passing through so decided to eat here since all the other Village Inns I have been to were pretty good, but the one here. The service was horrible, the food wasn't any good and they took forever to bring are bill.

The rating of 5 is not necessarily for the food - it is pretty much the same at all VI's as they are a chain. Same menu, prices, etc. The 5 rating is for the service, efficiency and friendliness. This is the best VI I have ever visited. Many have poor management, staff that seem to be showing up for... More
