This such a cozy, friendly, eat the bar restaurant that qualifies as a “paleo pit stop” with a long list of carnivore offerings. Tonight we had lobster and corn chowder for openers followed by their claim to culinary fame, elk. Add in the ambiance of...More

We had dinner in John L’s Wine Cellar which is the private dining room of the Ranch House Restaurant & Saloon. The menu was innovative and the meal was excellent. So was the service.

Amazing food, great views! There on business so had buffet service. Food was hot, but not dry and in ample quantities. Staff was very accommodating to young families with little ones.

Description
Located in the original homestead that was built on Devil's Thumb Ranch in the 1930s. We like to think that when those early pioneers picked the spot for their home, it was chosen for its magnificent views – elk and moose wander by, horses enjoy their meals in the meadow and a blanket of stars light the night in a way you can only see in a place like this. We also like to think that those early Ranchers knew a thing or two about eating well. And we carry on the tradition with style at Ranch House Restaurant. We serve New American Mountain Cuisine here – which means real food, cooked with real ingredients, including Wagyu beef from our own Ranch-raised herd. All natural and locally grown whenever we can. Always fresh, always delicious.
