Seriously, ate the same sandwich two days in a row. The Lumberjack. The first day I ate it I declared it the best sandwich I had ever eaten. That is cool. The guys and girls that work there are the real joy, though, so say...More

I love the sandwiches at Big Bear. They offer a ton of gourmet, great-tasting ingredients with unique sandwiches. My favorites are the phoenix and the treehugger - definitely worth trying, and way better than any sandwich I've found in Vail. Service sometimes can be iffy...More

Big Bear Bistro's lunch menu is the right kind of gourmet. Not over priced like Joe's Famous Deli and infinitely better quality of ingredients and better food all around.

Ate lunch here during a ski trip to Vail. Ii is a small place with a few table indoors and some outdoors, but the sandwiches and soups are delicious, especially their vegetarian sandwiches. We will definitely have lunch there when we ski Vail.

We had a nice quick reasonably-priced lunch here on our 1st day at Vail. Arrived at 1120amish, so no crowds. My turkey pesto panini was excellent, as was my husband's roast beef, with generous portion sizes. Service was quick. We will eat here again.

Sept 4th was Gourmet on Gore in Vail. Lots of restaurants on the street, selling their "wares". Big Bear was one of the "favorites" with people lined up to sample the tomato, mozzarella, pesto panini sandwich. The best value on the street. Delicious. Keep up...More
