When looking for lunch the Big Bear is the best in Vail. Made from scratch with the best ingredients the large selection is tops. Always friendly and crowded but it moves quick. Never fails.

I have been wanting to try Big Bear Bistro from day one of my visit. On my last day, it was finally slow enough for me to order a sandwich. I decided on the Briggs which was turkey, bacon, ranch, avocado, Swiss cheese, red onion,...More

Big Bear Bistro is awesome! Breakfasts are amazing, sandwiches and salads are perfectly flavored, just the right size (feed your hungry mountain-exercised soul) not skimpy. Coffee (espresso) is Italian--perfetto! Solid wine choices, too. We were fans before we received a stellar recommendation from a former...More

The sandwiches and salad were really good. There was a new girl who messed my order up but they went well beyond reasonable on compensating me.

Amazing sandwiches. We went for lunch after visiting the extremely busy farmers market. It was in a little quieter area away from the market so the peaceful setting for lunch was much appreciated. Good choices for kids too.

With The Little Diner under construction, we needed to get breakfast somewhere, and were pleasantly surprised by this place. The breakfast burrito with green chili is delicious, and so is the Alex (eggs, bacon, potatoes). The atmosphere on the patio is exceptional. Good place.

Big Bear Bistro was suitable for the entire family. When it's 11am and half the family wants lunch and the other half still wants breakfast, this restaurant helped us all out! The breakfast sandwich came out hot and delicious. The banana and chocolate crepe (with...More
