Hubby and I took the gondola to the top of the mountain and ate at Bistro Fourteen for lunch. I had a cheese bison sandwich. The cheese was very salty, the bison was tender and was in chunks like stew meat. The roll was not...More

As a ski resort Vail does not offer many good quality restaurants on the actual mountain. This place is very buzzy with a good vibe. The staff are friendly and the service is slick and professional. However, the food really let the place down. My...More
For fine dining, go to Larkspur or The 10th. Actually Two Elks food is better than this, though it's cafeteria and this is sit-down. Shrimp PoBoy is mostly bread, shrimp bland. Good peel-on french fries. Chicken tacos are very dry, guac ok but not super...More
Top of the mountain, a touch of heaven, an artist's dreamland. The menu is not elaborate but has a diverse list of delectable items. Mode of transportation is a free ride on the Eagle Bahn Gondola for the non-skier from Lionshead. Named after the view...More

We had dinner last night at Bistro 14. Our waitress Cindy really made it a great night. She is very personable and willing to accommodate our special requests. She remembered us from last year and made great suggestions on the menu. We'll come back on...More
Nice place on the mountain just on top of the gondola from Lionshead. The decor is kinda outdated but the food is good, portions are large and the service is friendly. Make sure to reserve a table it gets full quite easy.
The staff was friendly. Adam our waiter was awesome! after tubing we went there to have dinner. It happened to be 2 for 1 meal. The food was amazing and would go back there for sure. It was dark so we didn't really care for...More
I'd avoid this dinner stop on future visits. For the money, its a better value in town. The gondola ride at night was fun, but that can be done after a better meal in Loinshead.
