Excellent French cuisine! Quality of food and staff are high, meals are generally without gluten and any dietary needs can be readily answered. Lighthearted but professional staff, excellent wine list, knowledgeable sommelier. Will go again next visit!

Consistently great dining with a French flair. The steak tartar is perfect; the onion soup a little too thin for my taste, but with plenty of cheese on top. Main courses are beautifully presented but quite pricy. The Iles Flottant for dessert is delicous, but...More

Our family has been coming to the Left Bank for decades. The current owners who took over a few years ago have made some huge changes in decor and some of the menu, but thankfully they have left some of the classics intact....in particular the...More

Two couples for dinner. Patchy result. Highlights were Bouillabaisse - fresh and different and the foie grass poelle - spot on with the cooking. On the down side they started with luke warm champagne and a dodgy magret de canard (actually a low cal skinny...More

Has a serious wine list at seriously reasonable prices; and I know my wines and their cost. Really very very good. And even great wines by the half bottle. Seriously good (also because of the prices) compared to the best restaurants around the world who...More

We went for drinks and apps. Old fashion was perfect. Escargot was super with lots of fresh garlic, beef tartar was so tasty with perfect seasoning, shrimp was great and chocolate soufflé to die for..... linen tablecloths and silver make this restaurant classy. The service...More

Visiting usually annually, we choose the restaurant that we feel was the best during our stay. Our first visit was around 1985 and it was a different deal...quintessential French décor, excellent food, and a husband-wife team in charge. Having passed through two subsequent owners, things...More

No, you do not need to wear jacket and tie but you may see a few guests with them. In winter you actually see guests in ski wear and even shorts in summer. It is not like it used to be. :)
