I've been a vegetarian since 1970 and this place is my favorite restaurant EVER!!! This is truly an AMAZING place to eat!! I enjoyed every single bite. I could of licked my plate clean.I loved it so much that I ordered dessert, something I rarely do in vegan restaurants, and it didn't disappoint!!! Awesome blueberry "cheesecake". I'd give it ten... I had raved about G-Zen to my family, after a single visit in April of 2014, and had persuaded all of them, coming from four different states, to splurge on having dinner there on the night after Thanksgiving, Friday, November 25, 2016. We had a reservation for our party of seven for 8:00 PM and arrived right on time. We... More

We celebrated my birthday there. The spinach potato pierogi was delicious. I would also recommend their sweet potato fries. Also check out the Budda Brunch. The eastern type of art adds to the peaceful atmosphere. The wait staff was very accommodating.

First of all, I think the only upscale thing about this place was the price. The new-agey decor was kind of kitschy, the menu descriptions pretentious, and service was pretty average. The drinks were insanely overpriced, and my daughter described her chai as "dirt chai." As a vegetarian, I loved having a full-choice menu with some creative alternatives to the... More

G-Zen is fantastic. It is so difficult to find food out on the road that does not contain meat but gives the taste buds a treat! The menus is diverse and even if you are not vegan you will not be disappointed. The also have wonderful shakes that I had for my dessert...and some wine of course with dinner. Try... More

This was the third time my husband and I dined at this establishment. Trying to be fair and give a place a handful of chances, we hoped this time would be different. There are a few nice dishes on the menu. The nachos are great. Kale salad is wonderful. All the soups are not worth trying, disappointed all three times... More

There aren't many "nice" vegetarian restaurants in Connecticut- G-Zen is a great little spot. My husband (who is not a vegetarian) and I love G-Zen's saki-tinis! Theses fresh pressed juice drinks are made with saki- which we never drink- but pairs analyzing with the juice! You hardly taste the alcohol- which is a plus for me! The fresh bread and... More

I found GZen when I randomly drove by then looked up to find a true vegan restaurant. It is a formal restaurant with a great menu and good food.

Nice spring day with 4 people, 1 a vegetarian. The brunc food was fresh, prepared well and tasty. We were all pleased with our meals. Also noticed even after a good sized meal that I didn't feel bloated. However, be prepared to spend a bit.

Thank Randy C
