I have lived nearby this restaurant for many years but never actually ate here. I always felt it was a restaurant for senior citizens so I never stopped in, until this past Saturday and boy am I glad I did. The decor, ambiance, waitresses uniforms, etc., are a blast from the past. The dark wood paneling, the smaller water glasses,... More

We have gone to The Heath for years to enjoy their good food and reasonable prices but lately something is making us question whether we should find a new place to eat - stinky waitresses! There are a number of the older women serving customers that cover themselves in the most God awful perfume from the 1930s. It immediately takes... More

We went here with my dad and we had a great dinner.. you can't beat the prices and the food is very good! It is a very old rustic restaurant and gives you a real throw back feeling... I had steak and stuffed shrimp which was great! The portions are also very nice. It is a much older crowd, but... More

Because sometimes you want a 4pm dinner! Food isn't bad, and you can seriously order liver and onions. One time I even saw a person under 60 there. Good for when you want to go back in time, or torture your kids.

The Hearth has been around forever. The decor is from the fifties and hasn't changed. You go there for the food though. Great specials everyday and "can't beat prices".. Everyone's friendly. Give it a try

...hang out with old people. This place is a real throw back. Open your mind and go back to 1973. How many other places still serve a slab of calf's liver? Items are competently prepared and a good value, especially if you go for the early bird.

Wonderful place for an American meal. The entire staff is gracious and never had a bad meal here. The filet mignon is excellent, soup is very good along with the veggies. Never had desert as we were too full.

We have been coming to the Hearth since 1973 and the decor has not really changed. But what also has not changed is the excellence and quality of their food. Never got a bad meal and the beef especially is excellent.

The Hearth is an old time family restaurant with simple food, well prepared and served hot! If you are looking for upscale, fancy food this is not your place, however lot of food with a diverse menu and very reasonable prices then stop by and enjoy the quite dining with excellent service. Menu is quite varied and something for everyone,... More
