We were staying in Mollans-sur-Ouvèze to attend a wedding, we heard about Restaurant Le Laurier and we went with friends to dinner. The place is very beautiful, the owners are taking care of everything including cooking by themselves. The concept is really cool, you feel at home eating tasty gourmet cuisine, fresh ingredients and a glass of french wine.

Although there is a limited choice on the menu, what they serve is fresh, decent and very tasty . You can either sit inside, outside under a couple of trees or under the shed when the sun is too strong or when it is rainy . Ideal stopover for lunch (eg coming from Buis-les-baronnies or Vaison-La-Romaine ) when you're doing... More

When we first started to stay in Faucon there was no restaurant. Some time later a restaurant under a different name opened here which was so-so. Friends recommended Le Laurier last year and we finally got round to it this summer. The setting is lovely; it feels like the heart of the village with the Mairie opposite and the fountain... More

We stumbled upon this restaurant in a beautiful old town whilst out for a drive. Although the menu is very limited (menu of the day or a meat and cheese platter) the food was delicious. Well worth a visit.

One of our favourite restaurants over the past years, but our lunch time meal last week was not up to the usual standard. The menu du jour was unimaginative - cold starter, ok fish, and cold melon soup. The plate of cold meats as an alternative was almost inedible as it was too thickly sliced and not very well presented.... More

This is a great place! Owners very friendly, beautiful setting, perfect food. Our lunch was the best we had in 3 weeks. Food made with passion and love for the ingredients. Highly recommended! Tip: the restaurant sells the local wine they serve!

Went there upon recommendation from our host, it was simply great. Small restaurant with only a few table. Great food, all made to order, great wine advise. A must.

Restaurant Le Laurier was recommended when we rented a cottage in Faucon and we were not disappointed. The food was beautifully presented, freshly prepared and delicious with friendly, efficient service and patience with our limited French. We have already booked a return visit.

Alexandre, the owner, is doing what he loves and it shows. The food in this tiny restaurant -- 10-12 tables in winter when the terrace is too cold -- is superb and the entire experience is delightfully unpretentious. The village is lovely so lunch fans might choose to go during the day. Food was delicious and well priced. Wine was... More
