A great out of the way restaurant for Austrian food. Always fresh food, great variety and the Specials are always top notch. You most save space for desert or better yet split deserts - too many great choices. We have eaten here over the past 3 years and have not had a bad meal nor desert yet. Always look forward... More

An Austrian restaurant, nicely decorated. The entrance is a little curious but well worth the effort. The food was individually prepared and it was outstanding.

If you see other reviews of this restaurant, typically people really love it or hate it. They hate it because if you show up to eat without a reservation, even with plenty of open tables, you may be turned away. That can be embarrassing and humiliating. And I understand and appreciate it. BUT.... If you like Austrian food, make a... More

Whenever I retreat to Cheshire, I dine at this restaurant, for hours. I savor each and every drink, morsel and bite for an experience par excellence. The consistency exists for an obvious reason: Markus. Wonderful, spotless surroundings, pleasant service and delicious food. I never wish to leave! CHEERS. Paola.

We've been coming here for a long time - practically 10ish years. Ron and Kevin, the waiters for dinner, are amazing per usual. They know their stuff, all while giving you enough space to eat and enjoy the atmosphere. Before I came here, I've never tried Austrian food, but it's delicious. Chef Markus is extremely talented!

Marcus has the most amazing food in town. A little bit of Austria in Cheshire. Wonderful wait staff and menu. If you have never been try it, you will love it. The beet salad is my favorite as well as any special that he has on the menu. If you like venison you will love his special dish.

The Watch Factory Restaurant is a Gem! Made to order, delicious German / Austrian food. Chef and owner Markus delivers the most authentic, wonderful tasting dishes. And for a little history, he was once the chef to famed pianist and comedian Victor Borge! You will experience tasting the best wiener schnitzel, potato pancake, red cabbage (simply the best) and apple... More

Veal is excellent! The service is always great. Chef owner runs a great business. Very small and intimate dining. Never feel rushed. Little treasure in Cheshire, CT.
