Best French Dip Sandwich in Danbury! Local owner, nice to support a local place compared to nationwide chains.

Food is very good. I always get a Monte Cristo sandwich and have never been disappointed. I moved from Danbury many years ago and always make time to stop at Widow Brown's!

We went there for lunch and enjoyed it thoroughly! The service was relaxed & exceptional. The Caprese salad with burrata cheese was delicious. The smoky chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries was huge & tasty! I will definitely go back!

This is one of my new favorites. Great beer selection. The food was fantastic. Highly recommend. We need something like this down in GA.

Food was very good. Service was attentive and accommodating. It was busy, so it wasn't quiet, but the mood was upbeat and relaxing. We will definitely eat here again.

Service was horrible. Entrees delivered no silver ware. Asked for silver ware, after 10 minutes had to get up and get myself. Major snippy attitudes on part of servers. Need a reminder of who is the customer! Avoid.

I am sorry your service was so bad. What can I say except I hung up your review so our wait staff can see the complaint. Since I don't know exactly when you were in I don't know who to single out so I will be talking to each server. Thank you for your input and we will try to... More

We've always loved going to Widow's to enjoy a nice quiet meal at a nice no nonsense local pub with friendly service. I love their salads and my husband really likes the nachos and burgers. Over time though their beer offerings have really evolved and they've expanded their taps. They have a constant rotation of great hyper local microbrews and... More
