Very interesting old pub. Has received various accolades. Good range of ales, beers and ciders. Food was average but nice. Friendly staff! Nice to be welcomed by a roaring fire

So nice to have good quality food and flavours, which is hard to come by these days. The chef definitely knows what they are doing. Everyone at our table was very happy with there food and drinks, right by the Cosy fire. Staff extremely helpful and polite with everyone smiling which is a nice touch. The service was very good, the starters very average, The mains were virtually inedible. Gammon SO SALTY, Rib eye - mainly gristle and fat, burnt chips. Awful!!! Would not return.

Went for an evening meal with friends. Staff were friendly and efficient. Beer was amazing with extensive choice of many Belgium brands as well as a huge selection of real ale. The meal from starters to dessert were the best I've tasted. The presentation of the food was also top quality. The pub itself was comfortable and clean. The prices... More

This is a traditional pub with a great deal of charm, open fire, friendly helpful staff and a great selection of beers and local ciders. Dinner specials included a roast beef which was absolutely delicious served with a selection of perfectly cooked vegetables. The plates were piled high with generous portions which was a tricky as the puddings looked very... More
