While I am a fan of thin crust pizza and spicy foods, this pizza restaurant makes a specialty of having an option of adding hot oil on top of the pizza. Pizza in general is oily enough with the addition of more oil. This is a pizza only restaurant without a salad option - unless you count a salad pizza... More

first time to Colony Grill, we look for the menu only to find it is on the wall and you have a maximum of 8 ingredients to put on the pizza. No salads. No other options. Just pizza and beer. If that's what you're looking for then go for it. For me, I'll take Dominos way before Colony Grill! #chicagopizzaisthebest

Colony's pizza is consistently delicious. Its unique thin crust is a tasty change from the thicker, breadier traditional crust. There are a dozen toppings to choose from. You can't go wrong with any of them, though it would be nice it they were slightly more generous with them. There is now a salad pizza as well, and they do a... More

OMG if you like thin crust pizza this is the place to go....soooo good. The restaurant itself is kind of noisy(but its a pizza place what do you expect!) It has a really nice bar area with like 4 TVs and lots of hightop tables if you just want to hang out and watch a game while having a beer... More

My family is a little scattered now, but every time we get together back in CT the destination of choice is always the Colony! It's the best Pizza in the area- my personal favorite is pepperoni, olives, and hot oil, while the Salad Pizza blew my wife's mind. It's exactly what is says, a salad on Pizza bread. Add melted... The pizza is excellent but since the menu we very limited, we rarely visit. Although it's close by, we prefer other pizza restaurants because our grown kids and our grandchildren like to make their own choices, including other Italian dishes and salads.

If you enjoy thin crust pizza and a simple menu, you'll like Colony. There's only small size (12") pizza on the menu. The atmosphere of the restaurant is cozy and comfortable and family friendly although there is a prominent bar.
