if you ask for anything toasted they don't even toast it for long enough. just feels warm and soft, no kind of crunch or anything. want something buttered? their version is slabbing some butter on and expecting the melting to do all the spreading for them. Just leaves a huge glob on one part of the bagel while the rest... More

Always reliable, fresh bagels. Great cream cheese - tons of varieties. Great salads! Tuna, chicken salad and the chicken pesto salad are fantastic. Only complaint is sometimes later in the day the bagels get hard because they sit out, uncovered.

Village bagels are just amazing, hands down. On parr with NYC bagels. Line can get long on weekends so just be prepared. Their cream cheese (homemade I presume?) is also fantastic.

I come here occasionally to this shop for change of pace from Einstein's bagels on Black Rock Turnpike. I like them chrispy yet chewy on the inside. I believe this place has changed ownership so the quality is not as good as last year. This place isn't as busy as other shops so it seems they cut back on the... More

This was our favorite bagel place near the Fairfield town center, but sadly we've seen the quality going down the past year. I don't know if they adjusted recipes, but the flavor of the bagels themselves are not that great. Also quality of prep seems rushed and thrown together quickly. Beyond the bagels, the breakfast burrito has decline; the bacon... More

This is our go to early morning breakfast before a soccer game. Quick service for a good quality bagel sandwich. They also have good salads that you can pick your items to have put in. We buy our bagels for home here as well. The extra trip from the grocery store is so worth it.

Ordered trays of bagels for a non-profit organization. Bagels were to ready early morning, pre-cut and on trays (all this was done). I handled this all over the phone and was quoted a price. When I arrived, the price had increased by about $18. The extra charges were for the plastic containers that the bagels were in - this was... More

One benefit about living in the greater NY area is good bagels. One of the benefits of living in Fairfield is Village Bagels. Have been coming here for years and never disappointed. I usually get the bagel and cream cheese but they also have nice salads (made to order) and sandwiches. Whole family agrees this is our favorite place for... More

The bagels are soft and delicious. I have to get there early as the rye ones seem to be the first to go. I also like their soups for lunch, especially the beef vegetable. They also have good help and I like their manner. Lois K.

Have been going here for almost 6 years now and can say with confidence it's the best bacon egg and cheese you will EVER receive on a bagel. Wait is not too long and the employees are very fun to talk to.
