My family took me to J Gilbert's after much fanfare - well-deserved fanfare, as it turns out. Ahi tartare, filet mignon, scalloped potatoes, and creamed corn with well-done bacon chunks were all PERFECT. The service was spectacular - unobtrusive, yet thorough, attentive, and super friendly....More

Skip the reservations (we waited for 25 mins and they sat everyone else before us), sauteed spinach (very bland) and expresso martini (tasted like a watered down expresso). Get the steaks, mushroom risotto and brussel sprouts (all were very good!). Our server was great and...More

Classic steakhouse. The servers are very knowledgeable about steak and the menu. We had a party of 12 and reserved our own room which made our celebratory dinner private, and enjoyable.

We have eaten here many times and have never been disappointed. Especially on a Monday night when they do 1/2 price bottle of wines. This restaurant has great service and the best food in Glastonbury.
