This hotel has some really great food. I would recommend dumplings, the red snapper, and a noodle dish. The food is great, and the service is impeccable! I think that everyone there is friendly!

Small restaurant, but nice enough. Given the name, you would expect more Malaysian dishes, but the menu covers some traditional Asian recipes. Prices (at least at lunch) are on the low side, and the portions adequate. Service is pretty good. Parking can be a problem, but if you are willing to walk just a few steps, you'll find a spot... Often use this restaurant for business lunches as you can get in and out quickly and it has an authentic menu with interesting dishes. Quality is a little inconsistent lately where some dishes that were great came out just ok. Service is quick, if a little abrupt, and cost is moderate for the area. Sometimes you have to hunt around... More

Went there for dinner recently and ordered the Thai Seafood Casserole. First of all, it was only lukewarm when it arrived. It also was sorely lacking any taste -- beyond bland. And last, the shrimp and lobster chunks were overcooked and chewy. Very disappointing. Will not be returning anytime soon, even though I work about 3 blocks away.

We tried this pals a long time ago an after many years we went back with some friends who love this place. Our experience wasn't great before, nor was it this time. But let's be fair. We called them from a movie and warned we would be late. But frankly they shouldn't have started to serve us and then tried... More

While still very good, this pales in comparison to their sister restaurant down the block, Thai Basil, which has a better menu variety selection, is warmer and has better service. The BYOB with no corkage though is a Penang Grill advantage.

When I feel like eating Asian food this is the place to go. This place has great food, excellent/kind service, good prices, peaceful ambience. My favorite dish is the Spicy Mango Sauce with scallops, YUM!! You will not regret it!!

Penang is one of the best places for a tasty and quick lunch near Greenwich Avenue. The lunch specials are all very good especially the mango, curry and ginger sauce variations being really outstanding. The vegetables are very fresh and the food is always delicious. Service is quick so you can get in and out in under 45 minutes if... More

While staying at the Stanton House Inn, we fancied Oriental food for dinner one night. We checked out the book of menus at the B & B's registration desk and selected the Penang Grill, as being the best option in Greenwich, CT. As a result, I ordered the following for three of us: miso soup for one friend and hot... More
