Unfriendly wait staff I felt I was disturbing a break. Difficult to understand the person. No receipt given so it was difficult to know if all items were added up correctly. The order was to go so when I got home ....the chicken salad sandwich was so skimpy with the chicken salad it seemed more like a lettuce tomato sandwich... More

I found this place because I needed to kill some time between a workout class and an appointment. I got a cappuccino which was great and some breads to go. Such a cute spot, friendly staff and that smell!! Mmmm can't wait to go back to taste more on their menu because everyone's dishes looked great!

I've been going here for years. The scones are some of the best in CT. The assortment of breads and excellent coffee is also worth the trip. It is a gem of a place really. My only gripe is as long as I've gone here, they are just not that friendly. Mostly young women staffing the counter and they are... More

We had some time between appointments and stopped at Bread and Chocolate for a mid morning coffee and pastry. We loved the delicious croissants and the double espresso was almost like coffee in Spain! We took home a loaf of their olive oil ciabatta bread and enjoyed it with pasta. Stop here at Bread and Chocolate for breakfast and lunches... More

A wonderful café-like atmosphere, intimate, smells divine, the most wonderful breads. There are any number of menu choices, and the staff is eager to please. Check it out.

Their French Onion soup with cheese is great. It's my go to when the weather is cold. They make really good muffins as well. Always enjoy their blueberry muffin. Coffee decent and hot chocolate is superb. Breads are excellent. Brownies are OK but nothing special. Bread pudding is very good. Tasty salads and sandwhiches. Basically, nice place to sit, sip,... Food is excellent, nice selection of items and daily specials. Considering the name Bread and Chocolate you would think there would be lots of chocolate. They do carry some chocolate but not many. Clean and well maintained. Service is quick once order is placed. Cashier not so friendly. She wasn't overly rude but a smile would have went well with... More

Love their salads, fresh and delicious combinations. I think they are a bit pricey but it is a healthful treat. I enjoy their specials but are only offered on week days. Their spinach salad with grilled chicken is quite good.

This place is amazing. I had the most delicious panini here. Not only are the sandwiches so fresh and amazing.... But the baked breads and desserts are fantastic too. Love coming here. Wish they were open later!
