Delicious and inventive menu offering a twist on Greek classics but cooked to absolute perfection. A stunning setting and a great price. Absolutely nothing to improve.

A beautiful restaurant located just off the main road but you may just miss it when it's covered in lush foliage! The restaurant uses only Naxian produce to present wonderful food! Every dish was presented well and delicious. Personal favourite was the goat, which I had not eaten previously - tender fall off the bone and delicious ! And that... More

We ate twice at this restaurant. One of the best in Naxos. Good idea to book ahead though as its well deserved reputation means it's busy. Excellent fresh fish, good vegetable dishes. Local Produce. Friendly and helpful service. Nothing to fault

Taverna has wonderful ambience. We have visited several times and the welcome from the waiters is always fantastic. They are helpful, have recommended beers, foods and have even come up with meals that we have talked about, that are not on the menu. Just go and try it and you will have wonderful experience. Best food we have experienced in... More

Best food I had in Greece so far. Absolutely delicious. Excellent home made vine, great value for money. Beautiful location. Funny waiters, all tables booked, lots of local customers and definitely no tourist trap. We will be back for sure!

During our three weeks stay in Naxos we visited Axiotissa twice, both times Excelente food and service. Years ago I lived in Naxos for ten years so I know very well the local gastronomic tradition I can say Axiotissa is a gastronomic experience, a good one.

On an island with lots of restaurants and tavernas from which to choose for dining, one is fortunate to be in the company of someone who has lived on the island for years and can guide you to a restaurant known for its fresh ingredients. Everything is produced at Axiotissa -- from herbs to vegetables to lamb to pork, etc.... More
