My husband and I went to Nick's Place for breakfast on a Sunday morning. Although the restaurant was busy we found a spot to sit. The open room is packed with tables, a few by the front window. Although not a "homey" quiet restaurant, the service was quick and very friendly. The food was excellent. I had a Greek Omelet,... More

I'm never bored with good fresh food. Waitstaff very nice. It's not swanky - it's in s shopping plaza. Young and hold meet here for local conversation and great food. When ever I'm in the area - I'm there.

Its open long hours every day except Sundsy when it closes at noon. The breskfasts are large, served in minutes and get good reviews. Evenings are good home style eats, with great specials thurs, fri, and sat incuding very large prime rib $17. Bottled beer and small bottles of wine are available. Eat big for small prices. The Ownet, Angels... More

Nick's is a long time restaurant that has been in Madison for years. Big breakfast and lunch crowd .Menu is somewhat basic , however owner Chef Angelo will give you real value for the money. A great deal of locals gather for both Breakfast and lunch..

Nice place for breakfast. Fast and friendly staff with all the basics. Dinners are a pleasant surprise with multiple tasty entrees at a very modest price.

You cannot beat Nick's burgers and onion rings unless it's Thursday's corned beef! Their corned beef Reuben's are lean, tender and 5* delicious! You won't go wrong at Nick's if you want an informal lunch or dinner! It's a Madison staple.

Thank goodness Nick's is not very far away. They have the best Gyros on the shoreline. The rest of the menu does the job and the London Broil Shish kabob is really tasty as well when they have it. The food is consistent and some dishes are better than others. The staff is always friendly. I give it the highest... More

We just happened upon this restaurant located in a strip mall in Madison, CT. It was late afternoon and we wanted an early evening meal. Ther 'roast turkey dinner" was our choice, but we never expected it to be as large as it was. Served on an oval plate, it was quite substantial in size and very delicious....a true "home-cooked,... We went to breakfast and lunch, both times the food is okay. The service was good but the place felt dirty. There are better places in Madison, CT.
