I was really in. The mood for Chinese food and we were in the area, so we thought this would be a good pick. The decor and ambience were very nice and the menu looked like it would be good. Appetizers were actually great. Steamed shrimp dumplings were especially good and the dip that went with them was very tasty.... More

We made a reservation for 6pm but ended up being 30 minutes late and they still accommodated us. The ambiance was awesome and the music was on point. Food was good! We had rock shrimp and ribs for appetizer and the duck and veggie fried rice for entrée. The drinks were perfect and the servers were nice.

I'm not a big fan of Asian cuisine but this restaurant at Foxwoods was one of the best I've ever eaten in. My friendsare always considerate when choosing a restaurant because I don't really like Asian food, but I told them there had to be something I would eat on the menu. I was surprised to find there were actually... More

We arrived on a quiet weekday evening for a wonderful dinner with family. Clearly the first time arriving hostess was blah. Then we got seated. Water was served. That was a great thing. But our waitress was horrible. Very rude, Impatient, and had a attitude. But treating us patrons like we are a piece of garbage is beyond our worst... More

We arrived 10 minutes late for a reservation (celebration 23rd birthday for our son) ans was rudely told our reservation has been given away. The hostess never called to see if we were still going to arrive. Shortly thereafter after we were seated in the center of the room with NO room to move. We ordered chicken and beef skewers... More

Sticky bun appetizer inedible, with greasy bun, and small chunks of pork that was fatty and chewy- Yuck! The sushi was good, but have had better. Service was excellent, but not too many people were there.

We booked a "special celebration" for my sisters birthday and were told upon arriving on time for reservation for 8 that are table was not ready, so we asked if we could grab a drink at the bar. The young hostess said we could NOT get drinks since there were only 1-2 chairs open at the bar and we would... More

$25.00 all you can eat sushi got us in the door. Honestly, there is only so much sushi you can eat in a sitting. There were about 10-12 maki roll choices. You order two rolls twice then, one roll after that until you 'tap out'. It was good sushi, not 5 star but, good sushi. I would recommend the Tuna... More

Red Lantern at Foxwoods is one of the better, upscale restaurants...and they have amazing food! The food we had was fresh, made-to-order, and in a beautiful setting. The Roast Duck was cooked to perfection, and my husband had a Lo Mein that he said was a game changer. I would definitely go back, or better yet, I would make the... More

Fine restaurant but nothing that said to my wife and I "we must eat here again". We opted for an early dinner reservation as we were seeing an 8PM show. Basic sushi rolls for both of us.

Description
Red Lantern is unlike anything Foxwoods has ever seen before. With a capacity of 225 people, Red Lantern is modeled after its sister property in Boston, and features a redesigned open kitchen, full sushi counter and lounge area. Once again designed by the award-winning Peter Niemitz, the space also features 66 lanterns hanging overhead with the entrance marked by oversized, red ceremonial doors. Featuring a large leather, wraparound couch, high-back red club chairs, black tufted club chairs and acupuncture lamp statues throughout, Red Lantern Foxwoods has the same feel so many have fallen in love with, in its Boston counterpart.
