Great staff

Stopped on Sunday August 30th for ice cream and the service was great as well as the ice cream. Working under these frustrating COVID times, the young lady and young man who took our order did so with courtesy and friendliness. We come here every...once in a while and the staff and good is always very good!More

Good counter service fast food

Not just ice cream, savory food too. Good selection, not too healthy but pretty good quality. Had the cheeseburger (good), sweet potato fries (needed salt but good), and veggie wrap (plain but did the job). Will definitely come back again, and try the ice cream...next timeMore

Love their sundae's.

Good Ice cream with lots of topping and options. Soft serve and traditional ice cream flavors. Staff is fast, friendly and very helpful.

Nice lunch stop on a beautiful day

We were in the area antiquing and wanted a simple tasty lunch. Great choice....great burger and hot dog and awesome onion rings followed by some excellent Giffords ice cream. Just what the doctor.ordered

Great Ice Cream!

After a day driving around, this is a must go for a eats and ice cream. They are noted for their varieties of ice cream, however, you can also get hamburgers, hot dogs, fries, but leave room for a double scoop of your favorite flavored...soft cone or milk shake.More

Old Fashioned Fast Food

Not quite sure what all the fuss is about--the place was absolutely packed at 7:30 on a Sunday evening (guess it is the only place to go for miles around). Burgers were very good; fries were frozen crinkle cut; fish sandwich was okay; soft serve...ice cream was okay--nothing great. The bathrooms are Port-a-Potties in the back of the parking lot and were DISGUSTING (first time I've ever said that in a review).More

Great place

Nice place to eat inside or out...Great variety on the menu...You order at the counter and they'll call your number when it's done...Great ice cream!!

outstanding ice cream

Giffords ice cream is the best. Service is by college kids and very pleasant. We go only for ice cream and have never tried the hamburgers and other foods. For the reason we go, Popeys is excellent.

Special day with my granddaughter...!

My granddaughter was starting Kindergarten a couple weeks ago... I took her to Bantam lake and on the way back, we stopped at Popey's. Wonderful, friendly staff and great Ice cream...
