There were only 2 places really to have a proper sit-down meal at the Seaport so we opted for here. Quick service despite being the height of the lunch service. It's mainly fast food and fried stuff and seafood abounds. Tons of seating inside and out. Some of the tables were dirty and plates had not been cleared. We ended... More

We were hungry after walking around Mystic Seaport nearly 3 hours. Stopped in at the Galley. We both ordered the clam strip meal. Arrived quickly and was really quite good. I would eat here again. It's cafeteria style. You order and later pick up food. Condiments are located in several areas. Would eat here again.

The food was decent, service was fast, and it was a reasonable price. I really enjoyed the fried clams and my kids gobbled down the hot dogs. No complaints and very convenient when spending the day at the Seaport.

The Galley Restaurant is a popular priced restaurant where you order at the counter and eat in a dining hall. The decor is basic but the food is good. The Lobster Roll was huge and delicious. The Fish and Chips were fresh. The Fried Shrimp were piled high. We had a good meal. Members get a 10% discount.

I took a mid-day break here while touring the Mystic Seaport. I had a lobster salad roll, and I have to say it was really, really good, served with slaw. The restaurant is equipped with lots of tables, but you go to a counter to order food and pick up.

As other reviewers have said, this restaurant is inside the attraction, so one needs to pay admission to get here. Compared with other restaurants with a captive clientele, the Galley is reasonably priced, gives good service, and has quite to very good food. We were a large party of 25 or so, and we were able to take over a... More

Stopped here for lunch when visiting the museum. The clam chowder was particularly good.....thick, creamy, plenty of clam chunks, nice flavor. The shrimp basket was particularly bad.....more batter than shrimp, over cooked, disappointing, probably the worst we have ever had. The facility is quite large with indoor and outdoor seating. You give your order and pay at one counter. You... More

We had a very nice lunch here during our visit to the Seaport. The New England clam chowder was delicious. There was both indoor and outdoor seating and the staff was very nice.

I've read the mixed reviews but the stars must have been aligned for our visit today. I wasn't expecting a lot but we were really blown away by both the quantity and the quality. We each had half a tuna sandwich and a cup of chowder. I have eaten chowder every day on this trip and in all honesty this... More

While visiting the museum we wanted a quick and casual lunch. We placed our orders for a salad and a grilled chicken sandwich and paid at the cash register. It literally took 45 minutes for the grilled chicken sandwich to be ready. There was a large group of people standing and waiting as long or in some cases even longer... More
