I go for the guac, the frito pie and the active atmosphere. Always fun and the servers are always great.

Recently dined at Geronimo with friends. We always stop at Geronimo when in New Haven, and order tableside guacamole, which is the best we have ever tasted (used to live in New Mexico). Wonderfully prepared. I’m not a margarita fanatic, so can’t comment on their...More
Kind of more like a chain than a legitimate New Haven eatery, however the Geronimo in Fairfield is much, much better. Perhaps this place caters more to the young so it has that type of vibe. The food isn't bad but I found it inconsistent...More

Enjoyed the margaritas. The guacamole was wonderful. I had macaroni and cheese for dinner. It was very good. My hubs really enjoyed the fish tacos. We were a large party with nine teenage boys. They were very accommodating. Good service. Fun night!

The food is tasty, the staff is very friendly. It's a young crowd (not surprisingly in downtown New Haven), and a few groups got mildly rowdy. Not bad though. A nice selection of Tequilas, and variations on the traditional Margarita. They charge for chips and...More
