As expected from reading reviews the food and service was excellent. I was pleasantly surprised however by the silver flatware which was beautifully maintained by the kitchen stewards. It is rare today to find silverware even in five star establishments as it is not so...More

Our spot for special occasions. Elegant, quality, historic setting. Food and beverages always top notch. And a nice surrounding area for a stroll.

This place is stunning, and the menu is exquisite. The service has been a mixed bag for me - sometimes I feel like a cherished guest, other times it seems like I am a second class inconvenience. And because I am vegetarian there is rarely...More

I had the striped bass which was excellent, scallops also excellent and smoked salmon sandwich. We were all very pleased with the meal, the bread was excellent, service excellent. Perhaps the best meal I’ve had near Yale. Highly recommend.

A very mediocre eatery masquerading as an elegant, French restaurant. The best part of dinner was my cocktail followed by the wine. The oysters were underwhelming & the lobster truly tasteless. The decor was pleasantly warm & staff attentive but regrettably, could not make up...More

Most people dress up a bit. Men in jackets /collared shirts and women in dress clothes however I did see a guy in jeans and a buttoned down shirt. I don't think they would throw you out based on your clothing choice:)
