We were in the area and looking for a place for dinner. Lucky for us Tony D's had an opening on a Friday night. We started with the calamari appetizer. The hint of marinara sauce made this a tasty start. Our main courses were the lasagna and eggplant parmigiana. Both were high quality and full of flavor. The lasagna portion... More

Went to Tony D's before a show at the Garde. Old world decor. Nice menu. Stated of with fresh bread served with an olive spread. Ordered an antipasti which was beautiful and delicious. Also had a bowl of clam bisque which like clam chowder but more tefined. Not sure what the special ingredient was but it was intoxicating. Hubby had... More

Our first visit was a lovely surprise since patrons enter by going way down a staircase that's a bit dreary. But then the restaurant appears and it is elegant with many service people who are in good spirits. Our server, Erin, was sweet and helpful and the service is very quick. Appetizers were fresh seafood - a brodo with clams... More

I have been to Tony D's several time and I love going here. The food and atmosphere are fantastic. The safe is great. I got chicken parm which was great and I had the best calamari of my life! Highly recommend!

We spent New Year's Eve and everything was spot on as usual!! Yvette always makes us feel welcomed, Joe took care of our group and his service was excellent as always and of course, Tony makes you feel like you are the only guest in the restaurant. The food was out of sight, highlighted by the cowboy ribeye and linguini... More

We came into town not knowing where to eat. We tried this Italian restaurant. The place was crowded due to a play in town but we were seated right away. The food, drinks, and atmosphere were excellent. We would recommend this place.

Dropped in for lunch and just beat the regulars. Can see why this place has the established clientele. Wonderful food and service. A little bit of the old country in New London.
