We have been going to Captain Scott’s for years. I have only had the Lobster Roll, but year after year it never disappoints. It is a little hard to find, but it is worth the drive. If you are in New London you must stop by. Yum!

We had lunch here recently and loved everything! Fresh fish tacos, yummy clam chowder, fish sandwiches, fried shrimp, clam strips and fritters. Everything was fresh and delicious! Would definitely go back. Outdoor seating only but they do have a huge pavilion which provides shade and shelter, if needed.

While the lobster roll wasn't all I was expecting, the scallops and clam fritters were amazing! I love that you can BYOB too. All in all I will definitely be returning. It was very relaxing to sit in the sun, enjoy the view and not be rushed. I went on a Friday afternoon and by 4:30 they were getting pretty... More

Great find on our road trip home to Philly from Cape Cod. Unexpected location confirms that those in the know know that this is the place to go for lobster rolls. The lobster was really tender and the portion sizes are really good for the price. We've had lobster rolls everywhere from Maine to Maryland and this place definitely lands... More

Writing not just to pile on but to bury the last review. Definitely the best lobster roll if you focus on the lobster. Which is a good place to focus. Also, in winter eating in the fish market is a nice option. It's just the coolest place. Out of the way, as it should be. Returning soon.

I was disappointed in the lobster roll. Based on all the reviews my expectations were pretty high. I got the hot lobster roll the lobster meat was average tasting it came with butter on the side that I think was either unsalted butter or not butter so that did not help. The New England clam chowder was very good, the... More

Love those lobster rolls. Irresistible crispy crunchy fries. Yummy fish and chips. Not the healthiest food but should indulge sometimes. Completely outdoor setting with shaded seating area. Windy and chilly when we were there on an April afternoon. Had to put our water bottles on the paper plates so they wouldn't fly around. Must be good place to eat during... More

What can I say about Captain Scott's that hasn't already been said? The lobster bisque was *amazing*! Get it. The lobster roll, cold style, was great! We should have tried one cold and one hot. The New England style chowdah was really good! We opted for bread bowl style soups and the bread bowls were really good. They had everything... More

Delicious lobster and plump fab belly clams. I enjoyed the cold lobster roll more than the hot. Definitely the spot in town to go to!

I ordered RI chowder and large lobster roll. It was well worth the ride from the casino. I'm coming back in the summer :)
