We had heard from several people about Captain Scott's but have never driven down to there but decided to take a ride and was it worth it!!! Sitting at picnic tables along the dock, we enjoyed fresh clam fritters, tasty thick New England Clam Chowder,...More

Not exactly the easiest place to find but any iPhone or GPS has it listed. I think this was a local eatery and the news spread. Now it’s well know to many because you always want to share great food with water views. This last...More

If you want casual and fresh lobster dockside, Captain Scott's the place to go. It's a walk-up ordering window with a menu of lobster rolls (warm with butter, or cold in a salad), or selections of scallops, crab, etc. I had the warm lobster roll...More

Made the extra drive from Hartford to get a taste of lobster rolls. Very fresh and simple. Warm and with melted butter. Side of slaw. Worth the trip. Definitely recommend this one.

Lobster rolls were just ok. Fries weren't even good. New England clam chowder was awful. Thin broth at best. Lots of potato cubes and no clam taste! Went here instead of driving north to Maine.Should have gone to Bob's Lobster Hut in Kittery, Maine.

We visited over the weekend and the line was insane! They have a lot of seating, some shaded and some not. The seafood was really good but portions are kind of small considering the price. I would go back as it was tasty!

Captain Scott's Lobster Dock is hard to find but worth the effort. Once you get there, they have lots of covered outdoor tables along a river cove marina. We had calamari, a shrimp poor boy sandwich, and grilled scallop dinners with baked red potatoes and...More

Traveling with my six year old grandson. Good choice. Kid not ready for lobster, but I was. Child went for fish and chips. Great fries at this place. But make no mistake, this is not health food. Found the warm lobster roll to be very...More

Nothing fancy here, just good fried seafood at a reasonable price! We returned three times, while vacationing in the area. Never disappointed!

Awesome lobster roll served warm with butter...and even better clam chowder in a bread bowl. The special was a steamed blue crab dinner - yum! We would def return!
