Went for breakfast. Building dates back to the early 1900's. Very limited seating (a few booths that 2 can sit at or you can sit at the counter.) Since there was 4 of us, we sat at the counter. Double order of blueberry pancakes, the board special of sausage, peppers, cheese, eggs, breakfast sandwich and eggs over easy with bacon... More

We are summer residents of Connecticut, and Carson's has been a favorite place for our family for almost 40 years. We love to ride our bikes from Groton Long Point and get an old fashioned milk shake or an ice cream cone. Either sit and the vintage soda fountain bar or take it outside. The store takes you back to... More

Visited this tiny venue in Noank, CT twice in August, once with my daughter, and grandchildren and once with my wife. What a wonderful breakfast experience it is! Everything is served hot and fresh. On both occasions we had to eat out in the front on small tables on the small front porch because indoors was full up! How FUN! Wonderful... More

Friends of ours, who we were with, told us about Carsons...and our friends have great taste. There were 8 of us, they accommodated us without any issues - we sat out on the little porch, the waitress put 3 tables together and the chairs. Several of us love lobster (me, hubby and a friend who was there before). My hubby... More

I first went to Carson's when in high schools. Little has changed. This is a locals place. You can get a coffee/breakfazt at 0600 in the mornings, very important to us early risera. Locals and regulars make for good converstion and friendly atmospheree. The servers join right in on sitems of local interest. This is a must go place!!

Everything about this place felt like Mayberry, including the boy on the bike that led me there. I can definitely recommend the pistachio ice cream as very fresh and delicious. They also serve meals. Current hours are Tues thru Sun before 2pm and after 6pm. Hopefully they turn on the a/c before it gets any warmer.

I have been going here since I was a kid. Always good and very nice staff. Noank is off the beaten path but worth the detour.

Carson's is a great place for breakfast. There are few stores like this these days -- booths, counter, a great front porch. Newspapers and excellent food.

Random stop off the turnpike through pretty but tourist-centered Mystic to little peninsula and a breakfast brunch place, old building and village. They said the blueberries were local and I believed it and super hashed browns.

Original totally authentic 1950's soda fountain and American restaurant. We are what Jonny rockets tries to be. Original Formica counter top with swivel stools, full breakfast menu with store Made corned beef hash, eggs Benedict and more, cafe lunch menu with several sandwich options, and a separate dinner menu featuring local beef, from our own small herd of cows in north Stonington Connecticut, French fries as well as lobster and a few vegetarian option also available. Don't forget to try a malt, milkshake or float. Very family friendly.
