Chaiwalla is a very special spot, cozy and delicious. It is infused with the owner's personality, care, passion and talent in the kitchen. There is a tremendous menu of teas, unique savory dishes and incredible - INCREDIBLE - desserts. Definitely not a typical or run-of-the mill restaurant and I could see how it isn't for everyone on every occasion, but... More

Very comfortable and cozy restaurant with food to DIE for. Chai is a must and the perfect way to unwind and relax. There aren't many tables and a wait may be in order however it's well worth it. If you see cars in the driveway, pull in........do not pass this place up!!!!!

I used to eat at Chaiwalla regularly when I lived in CT and dreamed of eating the tomato pie again. On a recent return from FLA to visit friends, I planned my day around lunch at the quaint little eatery. The flaky crust, tomatoes bursting with flavor, and just the right amount of tangy cheese were all even better than... More

Miss NYC fussiness? You're home! Good teas and food, but the service is a little slow and the prices and ambiance are more Madison Avenue than rural New England.

A special treat found here, very comfy, very romantic, very good food and a very good value. If I lived in town I'd be here every other day, can't get too much of a good thing.

I have been coming to this restaurant for years. The owner is super friendly and down to earth. Thankfully, the menu has stayed the same and the food is consistently delicious year after year. As you walk into the dining room, you'll pass the desserts. Chances are you'll leave room for some delicious pie or cake. My personal favorites are... More

Top notch tea, lunch and desserts. They are famous for the tomato pie and decadent scrumptious cakes. The chai tea is wonderful and the atmosphere is calm and inviting. It is a casual place and refined at the same time.

The owner is so gracious and hardworking! Makes the most amazing food and delectable desserts herself! We have been coming here for years -our favorite restaurant in the area! An immaculate little restaurant-with a side cupboard displaying the most luscious-fresh homemade desserts ! Try the Red BMW sandwich -a wonderful BLT with a twist! Great selection of teas and ice... If you are looking for real chai tea, this is the place to go. I have found most tea shops make their chai tea from a powder mix. This is the real deal. The food and desserts are delicious too. Worth the wait and the price.

Lovely Teahouse with sandwiches and desserts. It is literally off the beaten path. A subtle sign in front
