Both the food and drink selection is good. Never have had a bad meal here! Service is good but the kitchen can be slow even when the crowd is thin. Stay away on game nights or family nights on campus. You will walk away with a happy stomach but your wallet will ache a bit.

We stopped here for lunch. Didn't want to go to a tray service place. Nice table service, full menus. We had sandwiches and eggplant dish, glass of beer etc. very good. A little pricey but too expensive. Will go again.

Geno's is the kind of place to celebrate la special occasion ...like surviving another Monday. Like everything Geno does, it is excellent. There are unique pairings & all time favorites, but the ingredients are fresh & prepared with care. I grew up in an Italian family & woukd highly recommend it.

We went here while visiting the university with a friend. The Chicken Piccata was really good as well as the pastas. I want to go back and try the pizza next time!

My wife and I took friends out to dinner at Gino’s Grill in Storrs last evening. We have eaten at this restaurant several times and felt confident that we would once again have a great dining experience. For the most part that assumption was correct, however we had a few unexpected issues. Let me first state the waitress was super... More

We come here often because my husband teaches at UConn and there are not a lot of nice restaurants in the area. Overall, Geno's Grille has good food and good service, but quite often they are all out of items on the menu. We came here shortly after college move-in day, and they were even out of BREAD. They only... More

Dinner reservations are always necessary on the weekends as the dining area is small. Typical Italian fare, but all 3 of us had just average meals. Bolognese sauce was bland and the eggplant parm was salty. Great cobb salad, though. The staff was very good.

The pasta special with cheese and chicken and tomatos was delicious! We also had the salmon, pasta with mussels, fried calamari and cheese pizza and all were good. The service was average.

Came to visit my son and took home to Geno's for lunch. Ordered a burger that wasn't at all cooked how I ordered it and it was served on a charred roll. Not a little toast on the edges but actually black on both halves. Tasteless macaroni salad that was a waste and completely flat fountain soda. Wife had beet... More
