Love the middle eastern and mediterranean diet, I highly recommend Dunya. Love their hummus, taboli, and dinner plates. Food is made to order and while you're waiting you can pick up some of you're house hold favorites from countries like Turkey and Lebanon. Lots of variety. You can eat in and rent a hooka pipe. Yes is a market, but... More

Driving on I-84, I stopped by to have a quick bite at this place. Very small place indeed, but the food was good and the guys there provided ample explanations on dishes and products. Service was good too. The inside tables were not great but hey, you should not expect the ambiance of a restaurant.

Came here while passing through Connecticut. We love middle eastern food and we were very glad to have stumbled upon this place. The Iraqi chicken kabob was delicious as was the falafel. The sides were good but we both agreed that they could've used a tad bit more seasoning. We grabbed a couple of sandwiches to go so can't wait... More

Dunya is a Mediterranean grocery store and restaurant with a quaint seating area. My wife loves falafel and we were curious how they would be at Dunya. I'd have to say it was the best we've ever tasted. Extremely fresh veggies and the falafel was deep fried to perfection. The Tabouli was so so so fresh and also the very tasty.... More

Stumbled across this place several years ago. Ever since then its been my consistent stop for lunch on my way to NYC. Very friendly service. You can explore the items in the store while they are preparing the food. Take home some hot ajvar (vegetable spread -eggplant-based).

We were avoiding backed up traffic on Rt 84 when we came across this Middle eastern Food and grocery store. It was the best Falafel that I have EVER had. Crlspy outside and a fresh, moist and deliciously seasoned center. Made plans to stop again on our way home three days later. We will stop here for lunch whenever we... More

I read reviews for this restaurant on Yelp and people were absolutely glowing about this "deli"/grocery. I was amazed at how fresh and delicious our food was - I got the falafel plate with baba ghanoush, hummus and fattoush salad instead of rice. My boyfriend ordered the lamb gyro. We both enjoyed our food so much, the person who took... More

This is a little deli/market/luncheonette that is just off I84 in Waterbury CT, exit 25, but only accessible from the west bound lanes, so it seems. My daughter and I found it by accident and what a lucky find it was. She had the lamb special and I had a felafel wrap, both were excellent. There are maybe 6 tables... More

On Plank Rd right next to Nardelli's Subs. Couldn't find a phone #. They have a small dining area, and it is a market as well.
