Happy hour is worth the visit. Three of us had drinks and sandwiches for $30.00 casual bar type atmosphere, very popular with the locals.

Lunch with girlfriend but neither of us too hungry so opted for nachos and coffee. Nachos were great and coffee good, 1.00 for refill. Coffeehouse atmosphere, weren't crowded and we weren't rushed out of there. Wait staff accommodating and leaves you alone. Will go back for lunch again and have food that usually good. Parking easy, plenty spaces

The place is fairly small. The service was a bit slow but friendly. They had a variety of unique sandwiches which we enjoyed. It was a bit strange that if you order coffee with your meal you have to pick a size. It's a self serve coffee bar in the front.

Stopped in on a weekday morning and was pleasantly greeted. This is a casual, seat-yourself kind of place. Food was good and service was fast and friendly. Would go back.

We got sandwiches and salads to take to the beach and the quality is always good. I believe I got the Californian Dude sandwich with turkey, avacado, tomatoes and sprouts. Reminds me of a sandwich at Jimmy Johns. It was perfect.

We found Arena's Cafe and had lunch there. I had a very generous sized greek salad with blackened chicken and my boyfriend had a sandwich. Our waiter was extremely friendly and attentative. We liked it so much we went back for breakfast and coffee the next morning. The breakfast sandwiches we had were delicious. The only complaint I had was... More

We had a family lunch here after a celebration of my mothers life. The staff overheard us discussing Mom's funeral and made sure our lunch experience was Happy & light hearted. Food was excellent as was wait staff.

Wife and I were passing through and looking for something simple and new. Found Arenas coveniently located in the center circle of 5 points. Small cafe with seating for about 50. Always seemed to be full while we were there. Casual dining, offering sandwiches, crab cakes, soups, and beer. I had a Big Daddy which was turkey, roast beef, provolone,... More

In fairness, I've been there only once, so my opinion of the food might change with repeated visits, and I will almost certainly return. I got a cheesesteak. I was raised in the tradition of Philly cheesesteaks, and the Arena's cheesesteak doesn't meet that standard. That's not to say this one was bad, it was just average. As they say... More

Our family loves the sandwiches at Arenas. We usually order them to bring with us to the beach, especially if we"re going to Cape Henlopen for the day. I love their fish sandwich, but the roast beef is great as well. My husband likes the Big Daddy. I don't think you can go wrong with anything from Arenas. They are... More
