We really enjoyed this place for take out but unfortunately it has closed so try Hong Kong instead if you are looking in the Middletown area. Not nearly the same but they have some Thai food on their menu and the kids like the cheesesteak and pizza egg rolls.

This is a pho restaurant (pronounced fa) . Pho is a delicious broth with some veggies and your choice of thinly sliced beef, chicken, brisket, or meatballs. It is very filling and value priced at $7.50 small ( but that is a misnomer) and $8.50 large. There are other Vietnamese specialty dishes.

I find it sad when an establishment in a town (and state) with some of the worst food options on the planet can't find enough loyal patrons to keep the doors open. This restaurant became a staple for us because we couldn't find a remotely good Chinese restaurant anywhere in Delaware. Vietnamese cuisine is far from Chinese cuisine as is... More

I am not going to rush to make it back, but it was a unique menu. The prices were low, so that was nice. The staff was very nice.

Food and Service are very good. Wish the restaurant had a bigger eat in business. It is not comfortable eating in a restaurant that is too quiet.

Food is plentiful and good - Fried Rice is not greasy as it is in many asian restaurants. The seafood was fresh and cooked properly. Good service from a no frills restaurant.

We went here based on previous reviews and we're disappointed. The atmosphere was pleasant enough-----if there wasn't a game show playing on the two tvs. Ordered the summer rolls which were ok but nothing exceptional. Also had the beef rolls in grape leaves which were good and different. For the main course had the meatball beef noodle soup and shrimp... More

Middletown is famous for its abundance of chain restaurants. That's good and bad as you always know what to expect. I don't consider myself an adventuresome eater of Asian foods, I pretty much stick with standard Chinese and Japanese fare. On this occasion our sushi place didn't open until later in the day, so we read the TA reviews and... More

We love going to Nhu Vu. The food is awesome and the staff is very friendly. The prices are great and the restaurant is clean and nice. The soups are great on a cold day. The specials are amazing, we love the spicy chicken with asparagus and the chicken, beef, and shrimp with basil. This is still a little known... More

Driving to coastal Delaware from NYC, needing a break and craving Vietnamese, we stopped at Nhu Vu. Traditional egg rolls and summer rolls 'hit the spot', and my crab asparagus soup reminded me of Saigon in 1964. Our shared 'spicy chicken w/lemon grass' was more 'Szechuan hot' than typical for VN, but sure cleared my head cold ;) With beers,... More
