I'm glad I didn't read any recent reviews before trying this place, because we had a lovely lunch there today. We were a party of 3 and were immediately directed upstairs. The menu is extensive and reasonably priced. There are so many choices, including some...interesting dishes that I think are Serbian. Food was uniformly good - nice smoked salmon, good Montreal smoked meat and a tasty BLT. We ordered a mushroom appetizer that was fantastic - served with finely diced ham and a creamy cheese, it arrived piping hot. Coffees were great - nice espresso. Service was polite and helpful.More

Was told to sit somewhere with a finger point. Table dirty. Order seafood and was not what we ordered. Butter knives awfull experience

My mother and I decided to give this place a try, especially with the hanging flower baskets, it looked so inviting and we wanted to sit outside since the weather was nice too. At the entrance on the patio there was a guy sitting, who...stepped outside the patio and lit his cigar. The smoke and smell was just awful. We thought he’s leaving. To our surprise and disappointment he stayed there hanging on the patio fence and continued smoking. When we told him that he should not smoke there, he replied that he’s off of the patio and that this is a free country he does what he wants. We reminded him that he should be at least 9 metres away from the patio while he’s smoking. He continued saying that he can smoke there as he’s not on the patio. Then he said to us why are you wearing masks, is that freedom? I couldn’t believe how ignorant he is. I reminded him that wearing a mask doesn’t harm anyone and that we’re following the law as it says right on the restaurant door where we were standing (beside the Non smoking sign ironically). We asked the waitress who came out with his coffee if he could stay further as we were going to sit on the patio as well on the opposite side of him. She said she will call the owner. The owner was Not only useless but he states that he can smoke there as long as he wasn’t stepping on the patio. We left without continuing any further. If this is type of customer service we get from the get go who wants to go further. We don’t trust this place at all, especially when it comes to our health!More

They are awful with service and so rude to tell you lie that you must leave the restaurant and some people waiting outside but when you go out there is no one waiting! They do not know how to manage a restaurant. Mash potatoes was...very bad with no taste.More

We were a bit disappointed as the place ws under construction and very noisy. Then we were greeted by a waitress in Serbian languge. One would think you would say hello in English first then find out if you are Serbian or not. The Serbian...breakfast was huge and all for $8.95 - 3 eggs, 3 bacon strips, 3 pieces of ham, red pepper spread, a slice of tomato, a slice roast red pepper, toast, and homefries. Mom ordered pork stuffed with cheese and wrapped in lamb fat. Everyone received their meal except my mom. The waitress should have told us that it will take 30 minutes to make her dish. When it arrived it was so huge you could feed 4 people!!! We emptied the water bottle at the table and the waitress never asked or refill the water bottle. The food was great and prices reasonable but lacked good service.More

Went there for Sunday dinner. Food was delicious. Had Banjalucki cevapi (grilled minced meats) and buns were soft and tasty. Had a large single portion and could not finish all the meat. Side salad was good too. Reasonable priced. We’ll be back! Little criticism: they...need to update the entrance (inside) room and paint the hallway to the toilet.More
