Advised by Vietnamese working on my wife's nails that this was the best Tom Yum Goong around. She was dead right it was the best but went a bit downhill after that Tempura was a bit heavy and claggy and fried banana in wonton was a bit oily which suggests that the deep frier was not hot enough. I came for lunch and ordered fried dumplings and sushi. The dumplings were delicious and the sushi was fresh-tasting. Good service. Fair pricing. I will go there again
I've been coming here for years and I am never disappointed. Beware, once you try the pad thai here you will never be able to go anywhere else for it, nowhere else compares! Thai food and Japanese dishes are all excellent. Soups are excellent. Even the water tastes good and doesn't have that swamp flavor that tap water in South... More
Service was slow and there was no excuse for it; the restaurant was less than half-full. I don't understand how the soup can come out before the drinks do. The sweet and sour pork was adequate. The tempura has too heavily battered. Service may have been slow, but the staff was polite. Could be we just got them on a... More
Nothing write home about was average or a bit above (not by much). Had much better Thai places on Eastside of town and I was not familiar with Westside. Very slow service and staff is not attentive. Then we waited another 30 for our meals which were all brought out at different times. Yes the food was great, but i recommend another restaurant where both... More
Didn't try the sushi but Thai dishes were nice. They seem to cater to the standard low-heat tolerance crowd so if you like spicy and can hang ask for actual spicy. The basil fried rice was light, aromatic and had crunchy whole veggies in it.
