We visited on a Saturday. There was a 20-minute wait. We visited the tavern next door while waiting. You will need to go to the bar for service at the Tavern. The wait was well rewarded. We had started with the Gumbo. The Gumbo has...More

This is our absolute favorite place for breakfast and sometimes lunch. Can't go wrong with anything you order. Servers are friendly and make you welcome. Friday lunch fish tacos are great!

You drive up to the restaurant and you're stepping back in time to when life was simpler. You're greeted by a friendly face and once you're seated and given a menu, you're off to an experience...the hot sauces are named after Florida towns or areas...More

I chose this place based solely on the name thinking it sounded like fun. And it was! And the food got rave reviews all around the table! We had the "famous" shrimp n grits. It's in a tomato sauce which was very flavorful, the grits...More

Hard to say. I've always gone between 9 & 10 am on the weekend. At 9 it was easy to get seated while by 10 we had about a 10-15 minute wait for a table for 2. Best to call them for advice.

Description
The Florida Cracker Kitchen is Family owned resturant by 2 brothers that were born and raised in the business. The Kitchen is a laid back atmosphere with southern hospitality and real food like your mom used to make. We bake our own Bread and Biscuits daily and everything is made with heart and soul. As the name says the Florida Cracker Kitchen brings back the old florida and the tastes that accompany it. We take shrimp and grits to another level with our homemade Tomato Gravy and saute fresh shrimp in and pour it over grit cakes and it will make your tongue slap your brains out! Hopefully we will see you soon!
