This was our one and only visit to El Mambo. Food was good, prices were great, service was OK, but the atmosphere was poor.

Not a typical American breakfast. The bacon has a Cuban flare and the eggs are obviously farm raised (giant dark yolks). The pastries are delicious and the empanadas are authentic. No breakfast is more than $5! What a value! Why not five stars? Bathroom was not as clean as I expect and the service was adequate - not exemplary.

My wife and I have visited El Mambo a number of times for both breakfast and for lunch. The place is clean the food is really tasty and the service is great. It's best to get there early for breakfast because the cafe is not very big and fills up fast. Lunch is slower there but the food is something... More

Nothing fancy, but come on folks, where else can you get a full breakfast with eggs, (Cuban) toast, sausage, bacon, or ham for less that five bucks?!!!! Personally I wouldn't know "authentic" Cuban food if it ran me over on the street, but I have HEARD that it is authentic, and the breakfast value is hard to beat, as is... More

We visited for breakfast and the breakfast menu is limited but excellent! My husband had steak and eggs which was loaded with onions too, he really enjoyed it. I had empanadas and plaintanos which were excellent! The cuban coffee was wonderful! The orange juice is frsh squeezed!

El Mambo at Del Prado Blvd and one short block North of Cape Coral Parkway is a working man's breakfast and lunch place. There is limited parking at front and at the side but there is ample parking in the back side of building. We had breakfast here several time and we love the fresh squeezed orange juice, Cuban coffee... More

We have eaten at El Mambo's several times over the past few years. The breakfast is good and they serve it quickly. We always get the special (3 eggs, a pile of bacon, toast or Cuban bread and Cuban coffee w/milk or OJ) it is now up to $4.25, but still a good deal.
