El Buzo is a lovely little place with great Peruvian food. Highly recommend and I am a foodie! At first site, it is a hole in the wall but the chef is fantastic.

This Peruvian gem tucked away in a shopping center was outstanding. Our appetizer of boiled potatoes with a yellow pepper sauce was just delightful. Our entrees were shrimp fried rice (great!) and the grouper filet with rice and salad. I have had grouper many places in Florida. This specimen was cooked to perfection. The owner checked in on us several... More

The food was excellent. Authentic Peruvian food. Ceviche and leche de tigre are my favorites. The service is great. Every time we were there the owner came to say hi to us and make sure everything was good. I completely recommend this restaurant.

I had to run an errand in the Casselberry area and was looking for an unusual lunch place. I was happy to find El Buzo since I am a seafood lover. We were welcomed immediately and service was impeccable. I couldn't believe how many people were working considering we were the only ones there for lunch (other than a to... More

Ceviche several ways can be had at this family restaurant. The fresh fish is a nice, healthy option and it is delicious. There were not as many customers there for lunch as there should have been and I don't know what kind of crowds come for dinner. But the food is coastal Peruvian, the owner/chef is himself a fisherman, so... More

Went to El Buzo for the first time a few nights ago. We were the only ones in there and were able to talk with the waitress/owner about the history of the restaurant and about the owners life as a fisherman. Was very interesting. We started out with ceviche and its by far the best I have had. She said... More

Place is small but has great food, fresh and not pricey. You can definitely smell the food while its being cooked. You can take a peek to the kitchen on the way to the bathroom. Ordered the ceviche which was great and a side of rice but somehow was still hungry. Wife ordered the churrasco which was tender. Service was... More

I think the family is Peruvian and the menu mostly seafood. I have eaten lunch here two or three times and the food is consistently fresh and well-prepared. The prices are inexpensive and the ambiance plain but the people are friendly and caring. I have not had an opportunity to sample much of the menu because I like the ceviche... More

Do not let the understated atmosphere fool you! El Buzo is always consistent with high quality, fresh and delicious food. The menu can be indimating at first... try the Pescado de Ceviche, my favorite! And Alfajores for dessert.
