Mainly known for seafood or down home meals. Nice atmosphere with a wonderful view. Great for large groups.

Well you can tell I have the duck comfit. It was an excellent meal. The wife's grouper was to die for as well. I missed a seat by the window (but that was my fault for reserving the wrong night). But all in all this was my best dinning experience on the key.

The pasta was good, but not fantastic. I had the duck which was cooked to perfection, but the vegetables that came with it were not cooked correctly. I love collards, these were incredibly bitter. That and I have never been served a combination of broccoli, carrots and collards - odd to me and we do travel a lot. The place... More

Recommended by the hotel staff and told best waterfront restaurant. Advertised as casual upscale dining - true to expectation. Nice view of the water and dock to watch the boats coming in and out. Seafood boil was very good. Friendly and knowledgable staff.

Cedar Key restaurants should be rated on Cedar Key standards. We live in a town where we have several excellent restaurants with very skilled chefs. To apply that same level of expectations for a small and charming resort town would be unfair. That said, the Island Room may be the nicest game in Cedar Key. The service was tops and... More

Love the venue. Menu is good, variety good, chef excellent, service is excellent. Went for New Year's Eve with husband and worth every penny. Would have second thoughts about going as a single, as it's not fun and revelers do not recognize a single person.

Went to breakfast here on the day we were leaving Cedar Key. Very pleasant staff and an interesting menu. My son had the scrambled egg/beef brisket hash, my husband had three pigs in a blanket (omlet with ham, andouille sausage and bacon) and I had the "normal" breakfast of two eggs, bacon, grits and toast. Someone in the kitchen actually... More

We enjoyed shrimp cocktails and grouper picatta. I had mine with the fresh home made linguini, so good!

It's very quiet, with an older crowd, but this has the best menu and excellent seafood. There is a relatively larger wine selection than I've seen in town. It's perfect for a quiet dinner on the water.

Our car club visited Cedar Key (all 22 of us) and ate dinner here. Poor service and cold food, and we were the only ones in the dining room! Guess the 18% guarenteed tip made for laziness and poor attitude.
