We enjoyed shrimp cocktails and grouper picatta. I had mine with the fresh home made linguini, so good!

It's very quiet, with an older crowd, but this has the best menu and excellent seafood. There is a relatively larger wine selection than I've seen in town. It's perfect for a quiet dinner on the water.
Our car club visited Cedar Key (all 22 of us) and ate dinner here. Poor service and cold food, and we were the only ones in the dining room! Guess the 18% guarenteed tip made for laziness and poor attitude.

Love this low key gem of an upscale restaurant. We visit Cedar Key often and Island Room never disappoints. Tablecloths and cloth napkins, friendly and professional staff, perfected small menu. The appetizer sampler is perfect for 2. You'll never go wrong with any of the...More
I literally grew up eating at the Island Room. My parents always made sure to stop in at least once every time they vacationed at Cedar Key, and now I carry on that tradition. It's easily the most delicious food you'll find in town, but...More
