I was very excited to visit here and not disappointed at all. Very warm welcome by the ladies and the extensive menu was explained in great detail, we couldn't wait to get cooking. This restaurant is a lovely restored rustic mill with a cute gift section. It serves two kinds of pancake mix for you to cook to your hearts... More

I was visiting some friends in Deland last weekend for a baby shower, and when they decided we should dine at the Old Spanish Sugar Mill, I was VERY excited to learn they offer VEGAN pancake mix!!!! Upon arriving and further reviewing the menu, I also learn that there are meat alternatives. However, I further learn (thankfully the server was... More

Eating pancakes and eggs we cooked at our table was a first for my husband and I. What a treat it was! I had pumpkin pancakes topped with organic honey and my husband made buckwheat and blueberries pancakes. The restaurant is quaint and small, but felt like home. The large windows with views of the park and the magnificent old... More

Day trip from New Smyrna Beach while vacationing [easily accessible from Daytona Beach or Orlando]. The Millhouuse, complete with wheel, has been turned into a all you care to eat, cook-it-yourself pancake house - very unique and fun! Not to worry, there are other menu items to choose from but The buckwheat pancakes were delicious! The natural setting with ancient... More

We feasted with another couple. With a griddle in the center of your table, you are given a choice of 5 pancake batters (two at a time), and then you can add toppings, eggs, meat, & vegetarian meats were available. This was just a lot of fun, and "all you can eat" pancakes! The wait staff were very helpful and... More

We visited here for breakfast today and it was fantastic! The staff were so helpful and friendly. We ordered all you can eat pancakes which were delicious and you cook for yourself at your table. We also had eggs and bacon which was delicious. This is a unique restaurant and was a great experience!

Owing to the novelty of it all (being able to cook at your seat), we have taken visitors here before. We have never visited outside of that, however, and will likely stop even taking visitors, since it has become quite expensive. First off, prepare to wait at least an hour in the mornings, especially on the weekend. The food is... More

Fun place. 2 types of pancake batter (white and grain), lots of different toppings and syrup. Can get eggs and meat. You cook your own eggs and pancakes on the center grill. Very much a family oriented place. Great for larger groups. Tends to be a waiting line, but you can walk around the park or take the "fountain of... More
