Sunday mornings can be hectic and wait times. So just your time accordingly. Hour before church or the the hour after church avoid. Good breakfast. Fast, courteous service. Big biscuits. The only negative I have is that the sausage gravy has no taste. don't think...it's home made any longer. Taste like a Sysco can of gravy. Every thing we ordered was good, bacon crispy. We've eaten here for over 30 years, at all times, breakfast, lunch and dinner and just to stop and have pie and coffee. keep up the good work. Your grandparents would be proud that your carrying on. See ya soon.More

I might be bias with this place. Been going here for the last 4 years and never had a bad meal nor bad service even on the side porch or area outside (benches and tables). Management is always on their toes and come around checking...on the staff and customers. You won't see a waitress nor waiter standing around to include hostess or cashier. Depends on crowd but service is always fast. When family or friends come to visit, I know The Front Door is a place that isn't a let down. There is a lady there (Binky I think) who makes sure everything is running smoothly and takes pride in the restaurant. Will definitely be going back.More

We found this place on the way back from a visit in St Augustine and ever since then we have been wanting to go back with a group of friends again, which we recently did. The staff is awesome, they have a huge selection of...food that is delicious and their pie is out of this world! Tis place is a must try if you are in the area and if your not it is definitely worth the drive.More

Since it's St. Patrick Day, I thought a corned beef dinner sounds great! Well, let me tell you.....the 12 hour smoked corned beef here at the Font Porch was the BEST and most spectacular corned beef I had ever eaten!! All the fixings, the potatoes,...cabbage, and carrots, were also lovely! And the cornbread??? Need I say more???? My husband had the country fried steak, and he said it was delicious! The service was quick and very good; the servers were delightful! When our server asked if we wanted dessert, we said no, but I did take a piece of their Cherry Bodacious pie to go!! Why not!!!! The saying on their front window clearly states, "Life is short: eat pie first!"More

Quaint, friendly, very Old Time Florida. Fried pickles to amazing pies; this is how it used to be, and really, how it SHOULD be.

Stopped afternoon for pie and coffee. Coffee was very good, pies, all four of us chose a different variety, were delicious and reasonably priced. Service was quick but pies took awhile to come out. Yum!

Got there Sunday around 20 minutes after open. Food took long time. Waitress never stopped by until she delivered cold food. We ate it because we were very hungry. Almost done, waitress shows up, told her cold food, asks if we want something else. No, we...dont want to wait any longer. Says manager coming over. Did not. Cashier takes money, doesn't ask how meal was. Called to complain, manager/owner answered. No apologies from anyone. The customer must not be important to him. Will not to back.More

We were at the Withlachooee bluegrass jamboree. It was my Birthday. I did not want to cook, so I looked through some reviews. I wanted to go to front porch and pie. Everything we ate, all of it was absolutely the best. Pot roast, fried...chicken, shrimp skewers, and the Cuban sandwiches. If you go to dunnellon, you need to eat at this place. One more things. They had the best people working in there. Absolutely our waitress was the best.More

Bought several pies as they thump their chest about them.Way over priced.Very average.Cracker Barrel has much better and half price as an example.Seems like mass hysteria that people have bought into. Not saying they are bad just very very average.
