On the way to Jebel Shams there is this nice cafe where you definitely should take a break of your road trip. Very nice service and free WiFi :)

Best place to sit for longer time and enjoying fresh coffee. I love the sofas where one can sit comfortably for longer time, especially in their branch at Nizwa Grand Mall. However, in Nizwa Grand Mall, it is located near to the Kids' funzone where...there are alot of noises of games and playland etc., therefore, the owners must change the location within the shopping mall.More

We stopped off here on our way up the mountains. From the outside it does not look anything special, but in fact it is very nice inside with many comfortable seats. They serve a wide range of frappes, coffees and smoothies, all of which are...very good. They also sell cakes, muffins and cheesecake. We enjoyed the chocolate muffin warm up and the frappes. I would certainly recommend this as a place to stop. The restaurant does have Wi-Fi if you ask for the code and also clean toiletsMore

We were a bit surprised to find this Starbucks inspired bar in Al Hamra, but we liked it very much. Very friendly staff, who could give us a good explanation of the various sweets and sandwiches they had. Coffee was good and the seating was...okay. Don’t expect the haute cuisine, but that would be a bit strange in the middle of very small town. Do visited it when you are on your way too Jebel Shams for a nice cup of coffee.More
