Food was mediocre. Service was absolutely awful. This place has so much potential but seems wasted as its run down and looks like owners have given up on it.

Five of us ate at the Rod and Gun Club. The menu includes a nice variety of seafood dishes. All of out meals were delicious, and our waitress was friendly and helpful. In my opinion, would be a 5 Star place if they accepted credit...More

Some places have so many stories you can almost feel them coming out of the walls. The Rod and Gun Club is one...you just know the reputations have been made and lost here on a truly epic scale. If you are near by, at least...More

This historic ancient club is definitely worth a visit, and there is no charge to enter. Beware of the food! My grouper sandwich was outstanding, unfortunately my wife's shrimp Caesar salad contained shrimp that were not fresh and tasted strongly of iodine. The location will...More

I am not a whiner when applied to resturants. However, our server, Amanda was atrocious. She didn't know her company's menu, was slower than a sloth (reminded me of zootopia), she was rude and condescending. It took 45 min. For the check, even though the...More

Excellent dinner! Amanda our waitress was so helpful! She gave us the "Grouper Rueben" for dinner even though it was on lunch menu! And it was sooo good! Ty!

Give them a call at (239) 695-2101 to check current prices. Google them to see that not many are happy with their rooms, service, or prices anymore. A lot of history there and a nice location on the Baron River, but there... More
