Nice waterside location but they had no stone crabs. Very informal. Food was average. Part self service system. Friendly staff. Not great value for money. Lacked atmosphere. No music.

We stopped in here after taking a tour with the Everglades Area Tour. The food was great, service was wonderful, and the view was outstanding! We watched the sunset over the water while eating dinner.

Be warned- their she crab soup is a red stew. There is no warning given and you cannot taste the crab that is barely there. Our other food was under cooked and when we spoke to our wait staff about it, she did nothing. The atmosphere gives the illusion of charm but the food is anything but.

Hi there, thanks for your review, butI have to disagree . I was on my way out to speak to both of you ladies and you were gone. The servers brought it to my attention and they also put both of the sides (fried green tomatoes and fried okra) you ordered to the side for me to try and I... More

I thought the food was quite average. We never did get our water. I would recommend going elsewhere.

Hello, when you place your order the person up front clearly says to help yourself to the water, it is self serve therefore if you do not specifically ask a server they assume you're helping yourself. Sorry for the misunderstanding. More

At first glance, the Camellia Street Grill is really cool. The decor is very unique and really invites you to the Everglades scenery. There's a large deck in the back with seating overlooking a canal. The menu is eclectic and has a large selection of food good for adults and kids. The menu ranges from seafood to french fries to... Hi, so sorry the Gator wasn't what you were looking for. Here at Camellia Street we have never fried our Alligator. We sauté it with ginger and cilantro and serve it over our homemade Fry bread. Renee, your server said that you guys were ok with trying something different. When you were finished Renee kindly said that she would bring... More

Fresh seafood,we watched the boat come in, funky outdoor, waterfront atmosphere and friendly service. Limited choices, but they are all good. It's a little more expensive now, but worth it.

Enjoyed our meal at Camelia street grill. It was a beautiful late December day so it was cool with a nice breeze right on the water. The tables in the sun did appear warm, though. We had the grilled shrimp salad and a blackened grouper sandwich. Both were excellent. The salad had lots of shrimp and the lettuce was fresh.... More

great location! location location.. its located on the waterfront with plenty of outside seating. The food selection and the wine and beer selection is great! its just an awesome ambience, having dinner and beer on a setting sun on the water front is a great experience.

Fun little restaurant right on the water. A little expensive for the amount of food you get but we overall enjoyed the experience. Kids meal came with 3 mini corn dogs for $5 (drink separate).

Hi there! thank you for your review., I am so sorry about the corn dogs! Usually there are 6 of them, somehow you ended up with 3 in each :/ If you are ever back down this way ask for the manager/owner and i will be sure to take care of you. Thanks again! More

Really cute place. Looks like a hippie-dippie artist landscaped the place. Food was delish--best sweet potato fries I've ever had. It was a little cool when we were there and the space heater was on the fritz and they gave us clean comfy lap blankets to use. Bathroom was clean.

Description
We are located on the Barron River, beautiful water side dinning. We pride ourselves in offering our customers fresh local seafood. Our menu has a variety of things to choose from, several vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options as we'll as real angus beef burgers and delicious Ribeye stakes. Our salads are made with organic herbs that we pick daily to provide the freshest bursts of flavor possible. Our ordering method is a little different than a conventional restaurant, you order at the counter and we bring you the food when it is ready. We tend to get extremely busy in season and on some occasions the wait for your food to be delivered can be 25 to 50 minutes. We have entertainment on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday nights for our
customers to relax and enjoy the eclectic environment. Our motto
Is not turning tables, we want to provide our customers with a nice, relaxing pleasurable visit wether it's sitting on our sofas in our outdoor lounge playing backgammon or soaking up the sun on the dock. Hope everyone can stop by and enjoy some amazing food overlooking the Barron river l!!! See y'all soon!!
