BarZin has quickly become my favorite restaurant and every time we're in town, we have to make it to BarZin! We had our first dinner here with my now in-laws and everyone was blown away with the menu, wine, and overall atmosphere. We ended up booking our rehearsal dinner here and it was a great setting with a private room.... More

Good food. Good service. Fresh fish from the ocean. Cant ask for more. Flounder was great. It's a oily fish which was lightly breaded. Wine selection is good.

A regular to Bar Zin because the food is outstanding in a most pleasing atmosphere. Always have fantastic different specials. Seem to get my favorite frequently which iis crunch Crunch Tuna. Served cold over a bed of salad with a tasty dressing.

Our party of 10 enjoyed a variety of dishes, from chicken Marsala to a portabello burger, which were plentiful and tasty; the tuna appetizer was deemed very good by our tablemates. The restaurant was full even at our 8 pm reservation time - it appears to be a popular place. Parking seems limited, but the central location on Amelia Island... More

We love upscale dining without the dress-up. We have been here once a week for 3 weeks now and have had exceptional meals each and every time. The specials are really well thought out, with a twist on the conventional. The scallops - every time - are some of the best we have ever had. All of the seafood dishes... More

Three couples went here to Celebrate Valentine's Day and we were not disappointed. The atmosphere allowed conversation and relaxation. Our server was pleasant, knowledgeable, and gave great recommendations. The salmon was flaky and very tasty. The red snapper and couscous delicious. The shrimp and grits very good. Because we had to wait longer than expected for our food, we were... More

We came here for the restaurant week specials and were very happy. My wife and I both had bar Zin's version of Cioppino, which included mussels, clams, scallops, and shrimp in a clear broth. Everything was fresh and delicious. Bar Zin has a huge wine list but we stuck with water.

We were here for restaurant week, staying in the Historic District. We decided to hop in the car and drive here for dinner (15 minutes) and were not disappointed. The food was excellent and the service charming. The menu was quite eclectic as were the beer and wine choices. All in all a great experience. If you are staying at... More

We were promptly received and seated and our waiter was right on point. We liked his candor and his recommendations and we had a very good meal. We have been here several times with a nice atmosphere and bar area. There have been occasions where we have stopped for a glass wine and appetizer at the bar as this place... More

1. This is a Bar/Bistro..... not fine dining as some sites indicate. 2. It is expensive for a bar/bistro. 3. It is noisy. 4. It has TWO rooms inside. One is a dining room and was has the bar and some tables. They claim the latter is considered a part of the restaurant but we disagree. For a comfortable evening... More
