Barzin is a wonderful place with amazing food. We have lived near Amelia Island for over 30 years and this is by far the best food in the area. The staff is attentive and the atmosphere is pleasant. We don't get the opportunity to eat there often, but each time we do, it has been delightful.

Hubby and I had a delicious meal at Barzin. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating. While the weather was nice, the mosquitos were biting, so we decided to eat inside. We had nice table by the window. Our server was really good. She was knowledgeable and very efficient. I had the catch of the day, and it was one... More

I gave up eating here several months ago, but friends have insisted we return. I do, mainly because they are treating me to a meal. But, it is not a treat. In fact, this restaurant never fails to meet my low expectations. The food is either overcooked or raw..everything now is a la carte, and very expensive considering the quality... More

Held a dinner for 12 people. The restaurant was very accommodating for this large group. We were incredibly well served by our waitress Betsy. She was on top of things, moved things along with out being obtrusive. The wine selection was decent and the food was fantastic. Especially for such a large group- the kitchen handled us well.

Went with friends who live here. Bread was delicious, Salmon was fantastic, cooked to order, and the server, Marcus was very personable.

We walked into Bar Zin without reservations on a holiday weekend. The restaurant was full, however Christina did not turn us away. She spoke with Amanda who gladly accepted us in her area. We did not feel rushed and so glad they accommodated us as he meal was excellent. The fresh catch was a grouper with crab. My husband had... More

First off, it's NOT a bar—the name is misleading. My husband and I were early for another reservation, and we decided to drop in, have a drink and an appetizer, and then leave. The bar is very small and doesn't seat many people. The hostess gave us a hard time for not having a reservation. Our waitress was very nice... More

A friend recommended that we try Bar Zin on our visit to Fernandina last weekend. We sat outside and the weather was perfect. The landscaping was beautiful and they even had a gas fire pit, which the waiter lit for us later in the evening. Tables had umbrellas with LED lighting. We met some friends from Jacksonville and arrived before... More
