Wife and I had a getaway this past week after visiting the kids in college and celebrating Easter with them, we flew to Fort Lauderdale and while waiting for our room we decided to walk and get a bite to eat. After breakfast we found the Elbo Room and decided to have a beer to remember our spring break from... More

Love this place. It does have its "certain" crowd but still love going there. Live music is great and everyone has a good time. Price for drinks is decent as well.

In a first view, looks like a good vibe with people dancing with a good live rock music. But inside the terror begins. Bad waste smell and completely dirty from the bar to the bathroom. Its possible see empty dirty containers of food on the ground. Servers try to conciliate carry on the bear packs, bags of ice and serve... More

Stopped in, while going for a walk in the late morning. No better time than for some day drinking. The beers were good and cold. The music was good I'm not really sure how "famous" the place is... but I'll take their word for it! Friendly service. Enjoyed the stop!

Great spot for a lively evening of live music and dancing on the small area in front of stage. Fairly cheap beer as well.

If you want plain, simple and great music, this is for you. One of my must visits for Ft Lauderdale. It gets packed, it is cash only and not at all fancy. But is the most fun on the beach

A great pub with a great band to hang with a buddy. The crowd is more on the mature (at least in age if not in action) and the pi td are great yet a bit small ( 10 oz vs 12 oz I believe ) but still had a great effect. Not a place to take the children but... More

Heard about this spot from friends, but when i went it was more like a place for drunk rowdy idiots to hang out. Definitely a mistake to take a date.

Stopped here around midday for one "quiet" pint ! Fat chance! The great buzz had us going for another fair few! The singer was fun, making jokes and engaging with every customer. Bar staff very friendly and attentive! Was one of the highlights of the spring break for sure. Soaked up lots of sun and enjoyed great tunes. What more... More

Met my hubby here 30+ years ago. Decided to come back to visit. As far as I remember it hasn't changed a bit. The only "real" local beach bar left. If you visit Ft Lauderdale you must stop here for a beer!
