Outstanding meal for the both of us! As promised the, cilantro soup was awesome. A must have. The cuitelacoche (or huitlacoche) crêpes were delicious. OKAY, so agriculturalists know this tasty fungus as corn smut, but, YUM, it's so good. The duck breast dish was one of the best I've had. It wouldn't surprise me to learn that the chef behind... Do not except your typical Mexican fare as this is anything but your typical Mexican restaurant. Four of us dined there the other night for the first time. We had heard that it was different and special and it is. We were seated in the rear of a small room directly ahead as you enter the restaurant. There was one... More

For quite a few years, this restaurant has been on my wish list. Last evening presented an opportunity to try it. Classified as "gourmet" Mexican, it's a long established venue located in a non-descript strip center. We arrived about 6:30 pm. The place was almost empty. Our waiter sat us at a table on the main traffic aisle to the... More

Good flavours but portions & service disappoint. It was uniquely decorated to theme but there seemed to be an unwelcome stuffy attitude.

This is a gourmet Mexican restaurant, one of the best restaurants in the area. A relatively small restaurant with a warm ambience. an interesting and varied menu, great food and outstanding service. It's a not inexpensive, but it'sa good value for a great dining experience. Don't decide what your going to eat until you've heard the specials. The bar is strictly... More

The food here is always good. I had crab empanadas in a beautiful sauce, and skirt steak with a terrific tomatillo sauce. Both were excellent, as was my husband's swordfish. However, for the 2 folks dining with us, they both received the wrong entrees - one ordered filet and got skirt steak and the other ordered chicken and got fish.... More

There is no doubt about it - the food is top notch. Menu items are interesting and unique. There seems to be a little something for everyone to enjoy. The service was attentive and informative. My only issue with this restaurant is the whopping bill that we were greeted with at the end of the experience. Although my husband and... More

We had a lovely dinner a few nights ago. The service was on point and the food was excellent. The cilantro soup was refreshing and zesty. The pork loin was the best I have ever had. We will definitely keep this on the favorites list.

Don't come here looking for tacos. While you certainly taste the Mexican flavors, it's unlike anything anywhere else. The cilantro soup is to.die.for. Our server, Robert, was very attentive any my champagne flute was always full. :-) When we travel, this is exactly the kind of unique local restaurant we look for, and it's right in our backyard.
