This is our favorite seafood restaurant in Ft. Myers. We have eaten here for over 30 years and always enjoy the visit. Everything on the menu is fresh and delicious. You cannot go wrong.

My review is of the happy hour............not the restaurant. Advertised as the Best Happy Hour in Fort Myers...........of the one's I have tried, I would have to agree. 6-7 appetizers for $5 each from 4pm-7pm every night. We tried the grouper cakes (good, not great), the fish dip (excellent............made up of several types of fish), fried calamari (excellent), and the... More

I went with a group of ten and once we convinced the staff we all wanted to sit at one table everything was fine. The waitress was excellent and the over all ambience was nice. We were in the back but still enjoyed the room. Most of the emus were very good and but two people who ordered the Seafood... More

Every time we come to Fort Myers, FL to visit we have a nice dinner at the prawnbroker. Food is always the best of the best. Today was spectacular with the friendliest waitess Teresa. Teresa thank you for making our special night out so pleasant. You 're amazing. Family from Texas and Atlanta.

Went to Prawnbroker's last evening. It was our first time there but it certainly won't be the last! The entire experience was just delightful. Our server, Teresa, was a pro! My husband had the scallops and I had the crunchy grouper (recommended by Teresa). Both were perfectly cooked. The New England Clam Chowder was delicious and creamy with a perfect... More

Escaped the hurricane and found this gem. Our server Sara was knowledgeable and recommended some winning entrees. Their clam chowdah is as good as any chowdah in Boston. Had the stuffed shrimp and baked haddock-perfectly cooked. You need to make The Prawnbroker a must visit.

We had a wonderful meal at the Prawnbroker. We ate in the bar for a more casual meal. Ashley the bartender was great-very professional.

We live in Cape Coral and met friends from Naples for dinner. Service prompt, friendly and excellent. 2 of had Pawnbroker salad with scallops - great. Friend had crusty grouper and shrimp and thought it was also good. Will go back for sure.

Thank Lynn H

Walking through the front doors, guests are greeted by the in-house seafood market, where the Prawnbroker showcases their specially chosen fresh fillets of fish and beef, hand-cut on premise, that are sure to tempt the palates of all. To emphasize their commitment to buying local and bringing you the freshest seafood Ft. Myers has to offer, you'll find our hand picked selection straight from the local waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Here you'll get a peek at the sumptuous fare that you'll soon be enjoying from their comfortable yet elegant dining room. Feast your eyes on mouth-watering Snapper, Gulf Shrimp, Softshell Crabs, Mahi Mahi, and the best Grouper Florida has to offer. Small tubs of pale pink creamy shrimp bisque stand in line next to bases for both kinds of chowder - New England style being what the restaurant is most famous for, a nod to the original owners' home region. Diners consistently return to enjoy these favorites plus the greatest Florida Stone crabs (in season) and Maine Lobsters.
